Michael Shope

Michael is a Knoxville native, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and earned his J.D. at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law. Michael formed Shope & Associates in 2017 after spending several years as In-House Counsel and Chief Financial Officer for a real estate development firm in East Tennessee.

Kara Stevens

Kara earned her J.D. at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law after graduating from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration. After passing the Bar, she practiced primarily juvenile law as a child advocate attorney. She has also assisted clients with estate planning and business contract needs. Kara joined Shope and Associates in 2021.
